The Dead Await drops you into a grim, decaying world where every bullet, bandage, and minute of daylight matters. Whether you play cautiously or take desperate risks, survival is a constant calculation: explore further for better gear, or retreat before the night turns everything against you.

Scavenge, craft, and adapt to unpredictable runs. Search for weapons, tools, and materials, then turn scrap into life-saving equipment. Manage hunger, health, and stamina while making hard choices about what to carry and what to leave behind. Each trip outside your shelter can reward you with vital resources—or trap you in a deadly encounter.
